Nature's Way standardised Hawthorn leaf is a scientifically and technically advanced herbal extract standardised to 1.8-2.2% vitexin supported by the addition of extra whole berry.
 
Helps promote cardiovascular health by improving blood and nutrient flow to the heart muscle. A healthy heart maintains circulation and nutrient delivery throughout the body and is essential for overall vitality and well being. Hawthorn is a historically popular herb as a cardio tonic.

Usage: For symptoms associated to abnormal or poor heart and cardiovascular health.
 
Some evidence suggests hawthorn should not be recommended in pregnancy or lactation. Hawthorn may have a potentiating effect on Digitalis medications which may necessitate a reduction of the drug dosage. The tonic action on the cardiovascular system must also be accounted for when other medications are being taken. A physician must be consulted in cases where symptoms continue unchanged for longer than six weeks or in case of swelling of the legs. Medical diagnosis is absolutely necessary when pains occur in the region of the heart, spreading out to the arms, upper abdomen or the area around the neck, or in cases of respiratory distress (dyspnea).
 
 
Take 1 capsule three times daily.
