Uva Ursi & Juniper Formula

Solgar Uva Ursi & Juniper Formula is a herbal combination of Buchu, Juniper berry, Uva Ursi extract, Barberry Bark extract and Parsley Leaves. This unique formula combines key herbs proven to support a healthy urinary system, UTIs and fluid balance. This combination of herbs greatly supports the kidneys and lymphatic system. 

Uva Ursi is a mild diuretic, with anesthetic properties to help alleviate discomfort and pain associated with UTIs and prostatitis. It is especially useful for E.coli, and can be particularly effective against the full range of urinary tract infections if the urine is alkaline.

Juniper has diuretic and antiseptic properties, and is used to flush the kidneys and bladder of infections and uric acid, and to alleviate water retention.

Buchu is antiseptic and a diuretic, and is also useful for Prostatitis. Barberry bark contains berberine, which inhibits bacteria from adhering to human cells and kills a variety of germs. Parsley leaves also flush the urinary tract.
