Nature's Way Cayenne is a special blend that maintains a consistent potency of 40,000 heat units (HU). Cayenne is a blood-red warming herb that has supportive and invigorating effects on several body systems. Interestingly, cayenne was used traditionally and is still popular today for the support of the body’s natural process of healthy healing of gastric ulcers and external indolent ulcers.

Usage: To support normal healthy circulation, warmth, gastrointestinal tissue health and digestive function.
 
 
Some sensitive individuals may experience a warming or burning sensation in the stomach. If this occurs, plenty of water or milk will dissipate the heat. Cayenne supplements should be taken during a meal, to help buffer the heat. Burning sensations may indicate thin or weakened mucus membranes in the stomach or gastric/duodenal ulcers. If you suffer from heartburn, hiatus hernia, gastritis or peptic ulcer disease, please consult your healthcare professional before using this product. Excessive doses may cause gastrointestinal irritation in sensitive individuals.
