Gotu kola is valued so highly in Ayurveda (traditional Indian herbal medicine) that reams have been written about it with emphasis on the fact that it cannot be appreciated enough. In English, the herb is known as gotu kola, centella or Indian pennywort. In Sanskrit, it is called Brahmi. It is thought to help bolster function of the nervous system, brain power, the body’s response to tissue healing and physical strength.

Gotu Kola may complement the body’s response to stress and fatigue and bolster the body’s production of neurotransmitters which are vital for brain function and hormone production.

Usage: For general health and body strength, to support the body’s response to healing and convalesce, and the effects of stress, anxiety and mental fatigue.
 
 
This herb is not recommended for those who are trying to conceive.
