Sanderson 5-HTP is a herbal extract from the seed of the west africian plant Griffin Simplicfolia.

5-HTP is a natural derivative from an amino acid and is a metabolic precursor to serotonin. 5-HTP is an effective and effient remedy for people looking to support healthy serotonin levels. 5-HTP supports mood, sleep, worry and a normal appetite.

Like L-tryptophan, 5-HTP readily crosses the brain-blood barrier and is directly converted into serotonin. 5-HTP doesnt compete with other amino acids and can only be used for serotonin. 

  • Do not use if you are taking anti-depressants, weight control drugs or other serotonin modifiying agents.
