Nature's Way Blessed Thistle provides 325mg per capsule. Blessed Thistle's bitter taste helps to encourage appetite and improve digestion which may be helpful for assisting anorexia and poor appetite associated with depression. Blessed Thistle stimulates digestive secretions and the production for mucosal fluids in the intestine which helps soothe irritated tissues. It has been found to be a valuable digestive tonic for diarrhoea, dyspepsia and flatulent colic.

Blessed Thistle may also support the production of breast milk in nursing mothers and may be of use for painful menstruation and excessive bleeding. Studies have shown that this herb also demonstrates anti-yeast activity against Candida albicans.
