Bowel Cleanse

Harker Herbals Bowel Cleanse (formerly Malcolm Harker's Laxatone) supports the natural eliminatory functions of the lower intestinal tract and bowel by gently encouraging peristaltic movements and also toning bowel tissues. Non-habit forming, it can be safely taken over several weeks.

The elixir contains black pepper, and Carrageen to lubricate the bowel. It also contains rhubarb and senna to support regularity, and wormwood – a bowel cleanser and vermicide.

Do not use during pregnancy. Do not give to children under 12 years old. Not for long-term use. Caution with concurrent use of the medication Digoxin, or if suffering from an inflammatory bowel disorder, liver or kidney disease. Caution if using Loop diuretic, Thiazide Diuretic or Warfarin medication. Consult your natural health practitioner if using these medications.

Dosage Pre-meals:

Adult: Take 10-15ml three to four times daily.

Child: 1/2 dose.

Baby: 1/4 dose.

Swill dose for 10 seconds before swallowing. Shake bottle vigorously prior to each dose. To accustom to product take a ¼ to ½ dose for the first 2 or 3 days. If taking prescribed medication, consult with your Doctor prior to using ‘Malcolm Harker’ herbal tonics. Avoid coffee or tea for ¼ hour before and after dose.

Best taken straight or by drops for infants. Can be taken in 50mls of boiled water as a tea.

Dietary Advice:

Avoid – mucus-forming foods such as gluten, egg-white, chocolate, sugar, dairy, polyunsaturated oils, regular salt.

Adopt – gluten-free grain foods, whole foods (greens, fruits, nuts, seeds), unprocessed coconut oil, 1022 Celtic & NZ Sea Salt with kelp, oxygen-rich water.

For best results use with 825 Verm-ez for 1 – 2 weeks.
