What is Ionic Colloidal Silver?
It is colloidal silver with a positive electrical charge. This is vital if you wish to make the best quality silver, as the positive charge is thought to be helpful in supporting the body's natural immune response. Some manufacturers make silver without the positive charge, i.e. metallic silver, which is considered to be less effective than colloidal silver.

How is Skybright Ionic Colloidal Silver made?
Our Ionic Colloidal Silver is made by pumping artesian water through a filter bank containing carbon, reverse osmosis, micro and mixed-bed resin filters, to produce laboratory grade water. From there, it enters the colloidal silver generator, which is the very latest computer-controlled generator, producing the finest quality colloidal sliver available. It then passes through a .5-micron filter, to the bottling plant.

What size are the silver particles?
The Skybright silver particles are measured in nanometre size. The particle size is very important because if the particles are too big they will not be easily absorbed by the body and therefore are of no use. We have not found a battery-operated colloidal silver generator that will produce particles small enough to be effective.

How concentrated is Skybright Ionic Colloidal Silver?
We manufacture it at about 6ppm (parts per million.) We have found that if you are manufacturing very high quality ionic silver there is no need for a greater strength.

Not recommended in pregnancy or during breastfeeding, or for those with neurological or kidney disease or seizures.  Colloidal silver may reduce the effectiveness of certain antibiotic and thyroid medications

HealthPost do not recommend prolonged or excessive internal use of Colloidal Silver as it may accumulate in the body over time and may lead to the development of a skin condition called argyria.   Particular caution should be exercised in use with infants and children.  Please use with care and don’t exceed the recommended dosage.
