Lifemum Folic + for Mum provides a micronutrient boost for before conception and the first 12 weeks of pregnancy, as recommended by the New Zealand Ministry of Health. Folic + is formulated to be taken with Lifemum Conceive & Pregnancy Multi during these specified times.

After the first trimester, RANZCOG recommendations for Folic Acid are at least 400mcg per day unless a higher dosage is specifically required due to risk factors. Folic+ contains 300mcg of Folic Acid to support healthy neural tube development in the baby. It also contains 30mcg of Iodine and 3mg of Iron which are important for healthy brain and intellectual development of the baby/child.
