Vita-Fit Kava Kava contains 3000mg of Kava Kava per capsule standardised to contain 90mg kavalactones.

Kava (piper methysticum), a hardy perennial belonging to the piperaceae (pepper family), has been used for over 3000 years in cultural, religious and social gatherings.

These include spiritual ceremonies to achieve a higher level of consciousness, to greet royalty and at festive occasions such as weddings and also for recreational purposes. The root of the plant was chewed, ground or pounded and mixed with water to make a drink. Kava is cultivated throughout the South Pacific and as far North as Hawaii, growing in tropical to sub tropical climates; with its use frequent, and wide spread.
