Nature's Sunshine Encapsulated Psyllium Hulls are a convenient way to add essential fiber to the daily diet.
Psyllium is also referred to as plantago. It has one of the highest levels of soluble fiber known — much more than that of oat bran.
Psyllium acts as a bulking agent, helping to relieve chronic constipation and to cleanse, lubricate and heal the intestinal tract. Because it normalises the elimination process, it is equally effective for chronic diarrhoea. If either condition persists you should see your health professional. Psyllium also assists with mucous colitis.

Psyllium has been called a “colon broom” because it scrubs the colon. It creates bulk and pulls putrefactive toxins from the sides of the intestines and colon. Drink plenty of water with it because it expands. Also take enemas or a good herbal laxative to help move the faecal matter and all of the psyllium out of the colon.
Psyllium hulls can play an important part in helping the body maintain cholesterol levels that are already within the normal range and may help to support cardiovascular health.
 
 
If you do not drink enough water with Psyllium, it may cause constipation. Long term use can weaken digestion unless you take some ginger, capsicum or other aromatic stomachic herbs occasionally.
 
Take 2 capsules with a meal twice daily.
